<div dir="ltr"><div><p>Good afternoon, we’ve issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard, in effect Wednesday evening through early Thursday morning.</p><p>This is not expected to be a major winter storm, but 2–4 inches of snow is likely on the islands. Periods of steadier snow are possible overnight, with the greatest concern between 1 AM and 6 AM, when brief heavier bursts could reduce visibility and quickly create slick road conditions.</p>
<p>The timing is less than ideal, as this may coincide with New Year’s celebrations wrapping up, increasing the risk for hazardous travel late tomorrow tonight and early Thursday.</p>
