Dear Emergency Managers and Other Partners,

A storm system is bringing rain and freezing rain to the region this morning. As temperatures continue to rise above freezing, precipitation will change to plain rain by 10 am across the entire region. Slippery travel will continue this morning, mainly for northern areas.

Behind this storm, gusty west to northwest winds are possible on Saturday.  These gusty winds in excess of 35 mph may result in down trees and tree limbs, which may cause power outages.
