Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Tonight:
Spotty light snow, sleet and pockets of freezing rain are possible across the southern Adirondacks, Lake George area and southern Vermont. A light glaze of ice is possible across the southern Adirondacks, and the
northern reaches of the Lake George Region which could lead to slippery conditions on any untreated surfaces.

Friday into the Weekend:
With milder temperatures and some rainfall expected, river ice may break up and/or move on Friday into the weekend. There will be a localized threat for ice jam flooding on area rivers.
