Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A flood watch is in effect for Litchfield and Berkshire Counties until 7pm tonight.  Rainfall overnight has ranged from around 1.25 inches across southern Litchfield to 0.50 inch in Berkshire County. Storm total rainfall of 1.50-2.00 inches is expected. Please see the attached graphic showing the Flood Watch (NOTE:  A flood warning for the Still River at Brookfield, CT is also noted on this graphic) and the expected storm total rainfall.

Looking ahead, westerly winds will become gusty tonight into Sunday.  A Wind Advisory may be needed for gusts above 45 mph.

Also, a storm system is expected to produce snow or a wintry mix late Monday into Tuesday.  Light to moderate accumulations are possible, which could result in travel difficulties.
