Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Winter weather advisories and warning have been allowed to expire or were cancelled.

However, a few snow squalls are possible this evening down the Mohawk Valley, Capital District into the Taconics and Berkshires.

Record breaking cold expected tonight as temperatures tumble drop into the single digits and teens with around zero degrees across the southern Adirondacks.

Across the southern Adirondacks wind chills may drop to as low as 15 to 20 degrees below zero overnight into Wednesday morning. If confidence levels increase then a wind chill advisory will be issued.
