Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Dangerous heat conditions will continue through Sunday:
  • Excessive Heat Warning has been extended through Sunday for the mid-Hudson Valley,  southern Taconics and Litchfield County
  • Heat Advisory has been extended through Sunday for much of the area
The heat wave will come to an end Sunday night with a passage of a cold front. Highs Monday are forecast to range from the lower 70s to lower 80s.

Also, scattered thunderstorms are expected into the evening mainly across the western Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley, eastern Catskills into the mid-Hudson Valley.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms with damaging wind gusts.
