Dear Emergency Managers and Other Partners,

An approaching low pressure system from the southwest may bring a period of snow or a wintry mix to portions of the region Sunday into Sunday night. At this time, it appears that a wintry mix, including snow, sleet and freezing rain, is possible across portions of the mid Hudson Valley, Northwest Connecticut, and Berkshires, with some snow possible farther north and west into the Capital and Saratoga Region, Mohawk Valley, southern Adirondacks and southern Vermont.

Main potential impacts expected at this time appear to be areas of slippery travel conditions.

However, there remains considerable uncertainty regarding the ultimate storm track and resulting amounts and types of precipitation expected, and areas impacted by the mixed precipitation. Please monitor the latest forecasts for updates and more specific details regarding this possible snow/wintry mix.
