Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for most of eastern New York and western New England, as light-to-moderate snow is expected to overspread the region from west to east beginning early this afternoon and continuing through early Thursday morning. A widespread 3-6 inches of snow is expected across eastern New York and western New England. The commute this evening could be impacted for much of the region.
