Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

A period of light freezing rain is possible over much of eastern New York and western New England late tonight into Monday morning. A light glaze of ice is possible, which could result in slippery travel including during the Monday morning commute. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued.  Another period of  precipitation is expected Monday night into Tuesday morning.  This will likely occur as a wintry mix and could end as a light snowfall, especially for higher elevations and areas north of the Capital District.  This would result in slippery conditions for the morning commute on Tuesday.  A winter weather advisory has also been issued for this.
