Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Scattered snow showers and squalls will continue through the evening hours.  Any snow squalls will be capable of producing brief, localized whiteout conditions due to heavy snowfall and gusty winds. This may result in dangerous travel conditions.

Wind Chill Advisories remain in effect for the combination of cold temperatures and gusty winds across the southern Adirondacks, Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley, Helderbergs, southeastern Catskills, southern Vermont, Taconics, and the Berkshires. The Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from 9 PM this evening through 10 AM Thursday. Wind chill values of -15 to -25 degrees will be possible during this time frame.  These wind chills may cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
