Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Wintry weather continues across the region.  Most of the area will be seeing precipitation through mid morning.  Any freezing rain will transition over to snow before ending.  

The Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded across more of the area for this morning.   Here is a summary of the current Warnings and Advisories.

Winter Storm Warning is in effect for northern Herkimer, Hamilton, and northern Warren Counties to Noon Tuesday.

Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Capital Region, Mohawk Valley, Schoharie County, Lake George-Saratoga Region, southern Vermont, eastern Catskills, central and northern Taconics and Mid Hudson Valley. 

In addition, temperatures will fall through the day today and any wet conditions will freeze, causing slippery conditions regardless of snowfall amounts. Very cold temperatures are expected over the next few days.
