Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

We continue to closely monitor a system that will bring widespread precipitation to eastern NY and western New England starting late tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow evening. Temperatures at the onset look cold enough for precipitation to begin as snow, sleet and freezing rain in the Adirondacks, Upper Hudson Valley, southern VT and the Berkshires. This may lead to dangerous travel conditions tomorrow evening and we have issued a Winter Weather Advisory for these areas. After Midnight, we expect temperatures to gradually warm allowing any wintry mix to transition back to plain rain. See the attached briefing for details.
