Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

The Winter Weather Advisory for Freezing Rain continues for the Berkshires, Litchfield Hills, Mohawk and Schoharie Valleys, Helderbergs, Lake George/Saratoga region, northern portions of the Capital District, southern Adirondacks and southern Vermont.  The Advisory has been cancelled for eastern Schenectady County.

A light glaze of ice is expected in the Advisory area.

Please consult the attached briefing for more details.

Looking ahead, westerly winds will become gusty Saturday night into Sunday.  A Wind Advisory may be needed for gusts above 45 mph.

Also, a storm system is expected to produce snow or a wintry mix late Monday into Tuesday.  Light to moderate accumulations are possible, which could result in travel difficulties.
