Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

No changes to the current headlines or forecast at this time.

Strong to damaging winds are expected into this evening across much of the region.  A High Wind Warning is in effect for all of eastern New York & western New England until 7 PM Monday.  Wind gusts up to 65 mph will result in downed trees & scattered to widespread power outages.

Also, lake effect snow and blowing snow will impact the western Adirondacks today.  2 to 6 inches of new snow, isolated spots up to 8 inches, are expected for this area and the reduced visibility & snow covered roadways will make for hazardous travel.

Please refer to attached briefing for more details.
