Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Snow Squalls are possible today, resulting in rapid chances in visibility and difficult travel conditions. Any snow squall will be brief, generally less than 1 hour. The best time frame for snow squalls will be between 10am and 5pm. The National Weather Service will issue short-lived Snow Squall Warnings as needed.

Wind Chill Advisories have been issued for the combination of cold temperatures and gusty winds across the southern Adirondacks, west/central Mohawk Valley, Schoharie Valley, Helderbergs, southeastern Catskills, north/central Taconics, and the Berkshires. The Wind Chill Advisory is in effect from 9 PM this evening through 10 AM Thursday. Wind chill values of -15 to -25 degrees will be possible during this time frame.
