Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

There remains the potential for hazardous weather this week.

Wednesday night into Thursday: A period of freezing rain is possible across the area with chances for freezing rain to linger across the southern Adirondacks and southern Green Mountains into Friday.

Mid to late Week: Periods of above freezing temperatures, snow melt and rain, will lead to rises on area rivers. Although river flows are not expected to reach flood levels on their own, river rises may be enough to cause some ice break up and movement which could lead to some localized ice jam flooding.
