Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Winter Storm Warning continues for all of eastern New York and western New England and is in effect through 4 PM Sunday. This storm is expected to bring a widespread 8 to 16 inches of snowfall to the region (localized amounts of 18-24 inches north of I-90), except lesser amounts of 5 to 10 inches across the Mid-Hudson Valley, Litchfield and southern Berkshire counties where some freezing rain (up to 3 tenths of an inch of ice accretion) and sleet will mix in.

Life-threatening wind chills are likely Sunday night through Monday night as a frigid airmass invades the region.

Please see attached briefing for further details regarding this major winter storm and life-threatening wind chills.
