Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Winter Storm Warnings and Advisories have been issued for the higher elevation zones in the Albany Forecast Area. Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected from 2 AM Friday through Noon Saturday.

In addition, strong northwest winds will be possible Friday night into Saturday across eastern New York and western New England. The combination of strong winds and heavy wet snow may lead to isolated to scattered power outages.
