Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

WHAT & WHEN: 
A light snowfall will overspread the local area from southwest to northeast late in the day Wednesday into  the evening hours with a transition to sleet and freezing rain occurring late in the evening into the overnight hours. 

WHERE: 
East central New York and adjacent western New England

IMPACTS:
Hazardous travel conditions especially on untreated surfaces.    Most of the precipitation is expected to occur between the Wednesday evening commute and the Thursday morning commute.  However, snow could impact evening commute across the eastern Catskills, Schoharie Valley, mid-Hudson Valley, southern Taconics  and northwestern Connecticut.  Lingering sleet and freezing rain could impact the Thursday morning commute across east central New York and adjacent western New England.
