Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

Winter Weather Advisory has been expanded to include all of eastern New York and western New England tonight into Tuesday morning. Moderate snowfall accumulations of 2-6 inches are forecast for the western Adirondacks, with 1-3 inches of snow and a light glaze of ice across the rest of the Albany area.

Another storm system is expected to bring a moderate to heavy snowfall to parts of the region Tuesday night through Wednesday night, especially for the higher terrain.
