Dear Emergency Managers and other partners,

light snowfall is still expected Thursday night into Friday morning which may impact the Friday morning commute.  The expected snowfall map is attached.
 
significant storm is expected impact the region this weekend with a moderate to possibly heavy snowfall. There is still some uncertainty in the forecast in terms of snowfall accumulations, mixed precipitation amounts and the exact track of the storm. The time frame for greatest impacts is Saturday late afternoon into Sunday evening.  There is also a potential for a wintry mix of precipitation for areas south and east of the Greater Capital Region.  

dangerously cold air mass and well below zero wind chills are possible Sunday into Monday in the wake of this storm. Wind Chill headlines may be needed.
