**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, *Heat and Humidity - Today* A Heat Advisory continues for the Mid Hudson Valley & Capital Region for today. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity may result in an increased risk for heat-related illnesses. *Thunderstorms - Today through Wednesday* There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms today and Wednesday for much of eastern New York and western New England. The main threat will be damaging winds, which may down trees and power lines. Thunderstorms will also be capable of producing heavy downpours today through Wednesday. Minor flooding of urban, low lying and poor drainage areas is possible. Isolated flash flooding cannot be ruled out as well. Please refer to the attached briefing for more details.
