**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, Dangerous heat conditions for the next 3 days: - Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for Saturday for Hudson River Valley from the Poughkeepsie area north across the Capital District, for the Mohawk Valley, southern Taconics and Litchfield County. - Heat Advisories have been issued across east central New York and western New England for Friday and Saturday Heat safety tips and resources: www.weather.gov/safety/heat *Refer to the attached briefing for the details* Also, there is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms Friday afternoon and evening.
