NWS Albany - Update on Today's Severe Weather Potential - Sunday May 19, 2019 - 12:50PM
**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, Conditions are becoming more favorable for severe weather today. Storms have already developed in western and central NY and are advancing eastward. The Storm Prediction Center has expanded the slight risk for severe weather to cover most of eastern NY and now clips parts of western New England. The main time window for thunderstorm will be 2pm to 10pm with damaging winds likely the main impact from any severe storms. See attached of details.
