*** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, *Flash Flood Watch* is in effect for southern Vermont, Berkshires, Taconics, mid Hudson Valley and Northwestern Connecticut through 6 PM Today. Heavy rainfall of up two inches combined with some snowmelt and runoff due to frozen ground could result in minor river flooding and isolated flash flooding. Across the entire region, minor flooding of urban, low lying and poor drainage areas will be possible during times of heavy rainfall this morning into early this afternoon.
