**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, A low pressure system is expected to bring widespread precipitation to the region Monday afternoon through Monday night. Though the precipitation type is expected to remain rain for the Hudson Valley, a wintry mix including snow, sleet and some freezing rain is possible elsewhere. The best chance for some icing due to freezing rain will be in the Mohawk Valley, southern Adirondacks, Glens Falls/Lake George region, and southern Vermont. If conditions become more certain for ice accretion due to freezing rain, a Winter Weather Advisory would be issued. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us via: 1.
