**** The information in this email pertains to the following areas only:**** *- In Connecticut: Litchfield County* *- In Massachusetts: Berkshire County* *- In Vermont: Bennington & Windham Counties* *- In New York: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties* Dear Emergency Managers and other partners, A Winter Storm Warning continues for the entire region tonight into Wednesday, bringing heavy snow, sleet, freezing rain and some strong winds. See the attached briefing for details. Lake effect snow advisories may be needed into Herkimer and Hamilton Counties Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Strong and gusty west winds are expected Wednesday afternoon and night over the entire region with wind gusts over 40 mph possible.
