Good morning everyone,

Attached is a briefing regarding the risk for isolated severe storms across much of southern New England today. The risk for today is greatest between noon and 8 PM. The main threats are strong to damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours, which could lead to street flooding.

There is also a risk for scattered severe thunderstorms on Monday late in the afternoon and into the evening. Risk appears greatest north of I-90. Cannot rule out that the severe risk remains outside of our area. If the activity materializes the main threats are damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours, which could lead to street flooding.

For more detailed information below check out the attached briefing and supporting graphics. Our next briefing is anticipated by 6 AM Monday due to the active weather this afternoon.

Thanks,
Bill Leatham and Hayden Frank
