Good morning everyone,

Attached is a briefing regarding the risk for scattered severe thunderstorms late today into tonight. Not a whole lot of change from yesterday with the risk being greatest north of I-90. As we mentioned yesterday storms could remain outside of our area. If the activity materializes then the main threats would be damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours, which could lead to urban flooding.

For more details please check out the attached briefing and supporting graphics. This is the last briefing anticipated for this event, provided there are no major changes to the forecast.

There is potential for heavy rain a couple of days this week, which could lead to flooding. We will have more information on this in future briefings.

Thanks,
Bill Leatham and Torry Dooley
