Attached are a one-page briefing and supporting graphics for the anticipated strong wind event.

There are no significant updates to the forecast, High Wind Warning, or Wind Advisory, which remain in effect from 7 PM this evening through 7 PM Friday. We expect a period of strong to damaging northwest winds to develop tonight and continue into Friday afternoon. The strongest gusts—up to 60 mph—are expected along the eastern slopes of the Berkshires, Worcester County, and northwest Middlesex County in Massachusetts. In lower elevations, gusts up to 50 mph are expected, with the most frequent gusts occurring after sunrise on Friday.

The next briefing is expected by 6 AM Friday.
