Regarding weather concerns for Friday and Saturday, Heat Advisories remain in effect for most of Southern New England Friday and Saturday, for heat indices between 95F and 100F both days.  For the south coast of MA & RI, rough surf and strong rips currents are expected Friday and may linger into Saturday.  Finally, strong thunderstorms are possible Saturday as a cold front moves across the region, breaking the heat with cooler and less humid weather arriving Saturday night into Sunday.
