Good afternoon,

Here is an updated one-page briefing for the potential winter storm to impact the region Tuesday into Tuesday night.

Since the last briefing we have issued Winter Storm Watches for much of MA west of I-95. The best chance for accumulations greater than 6 inches will be north of the MA Pike and west of I-495. However, there remains considerable uncertainty with the storm track and thus forecast confidence in snow amounts is low to moderate. If the storm track trends further south, more accumulation would be expected across eastern MA and RI. Further modifications to expected snowfall are likely.

The next update will be by Monday afternoon, but sooner if there are appreciable changes to the forecast.

Thanks.
Kevin Cadima and Torry Dooley
