We continue to have concerns for localized downpours sometime Thursday night into Friday. Given the amount of rainfall we've already seen across parts of southern New England, especially across interior southern New England, this could lead to exacerbated existing flooding as well as new flooding. We do not yet know exactly where this rainfall will be, nor the exact timing.

We will be sending a more formal one-pager briefing once the graphic we wanted to use becomes available. However, we did want to get at least some word to you sooner.
