Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on potential severe weather this afternoon and evening. SPC has upgraded the region to a slight risk for severe thunderstorms. 

The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts, but large hail is also possible. In addition,there is a risk for locally heavy rainfall with any string storms leading to a localized flood threat. The main timing threat is from 3 to 9 pm.
