Good morning, everyone:
The latest briefing package for the upcoming storm is attached.
- The main change with this package was to expand the Winter Weather Advisory into Western Essex County.
- Still have some concerns for possible Storm Warnings across the outer coastal waters of RI and MA, but not enough confidence to upgrade at this time.
- A Wind Advisory may also need to be expanded onto Cape Ann with later forecasts. Again confidence was not high enough to do so at this time.
- Coastal flooding is still expected to be minor along portions of the south coast of MA and RI, especially within Narragansett Bay
- Minor river flooding is possible, especially along smaller rivers. More details to come, once we get a better handle on how much precipitation actually falls.
Thank you,
Torry Gaucher and Matthew Belk
