We wanted to give you an early heads up on two or more days of excessive heat & humidity this Thursday and Friday.  Temperatures away from the south coast will soar to 90F to 95F both Thursday and Friday, coupled with heat indices of 95F to 104F.  In addition, not much relief at night, especially in the urban areas where overnight lows will only cool off to 75-80.  Depending on the timing of an approaching cold front, the excessive heat and humidity may linger  into Saturday.  The heat should break sometime next weekend, with improving conditions Sunday. 

No headlines are in effect at this time, but will likely be issued later this week for Thu and Fri.
