Winter Storm watches have been issued for northwest CT and western-central Massachusetts, valid from Monday evening into early Wednesday morning.  The watch is for the potential of 6-12" (locally higher amounts possible) of heavy wet snow, combined with gusty winds yielding the risk for power outages. 

Strong winds and coastal flooding may impact the shoreline, therefore, additional headlines may be issued overnight and/or Sunday.  Stay tuned for additional updates. This has the potential to be a high impactful event for portions of the area.  Attached are supporting graphics to this forecast.
