Good morning everyone,

Attached is our latest one page briefing regarding the dangerous heat today through Friday. Since our last update confidence has increased for heat indices around 95 degrees for portions of southern New England today and Friday. As a result a Heat Advisory has been issued. Not out of the question this needs to be extended to a smaller portion of southern New England for Saturday.

Unless there are major changes to the forecast we anticipate the next update to this briefing around 6 AM on Friday. For the latest NWS Heat Risk maps please visit this webpage.
