Precipitation type associated with this evening's system is trending more towards snow and less towards ice, with up to an inch of snow possible across southern New England. 

Our winter weather advisory remains in place as trace ice accumulations may create a light glaze on surfaces; possibly impacting the morning commute. It is important to note that ice accumulations with this system will be much less than the system that impacted our region over the Christmas holiday.
