Since our 4 pm briefing, WPC has extended the areal coverage of the "slight" probability of excessive rainfall to include all of Rhode Island, and the majority of Plymouth and Bristol Counties in Massachusetts. Due to this change, we have expanded the Flash Flood Watch to include these areas. Additionally, portions of Connecticut, within NWS New York City's area, have been upgraded to a "moderate" probability of excessive rainfall.
