Good morning,

Please see the attached slides summarizing the latest headlines and threats for Southern New England. 

What / Where / When ... 
  • WIND ADVISORIES have been posted for all of Southern New England.
    • Tonight through Saturday afternoon.
    • Sustained westerly winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 50 mph.
    • Strongest wind gusts anticipated across the Berkshires, Worcester Hills, and along the eastern MA shoreline including adjacent waters. 
    • Height of the strongest winds / wind gusts will be around Saturday morning.
    • Plan for scattered tree, tree limb, and / or power line damage. Subsequently there will be the potential for power outages. 
  • GALE WARNINGS have been posted for all waters. 
    • Gusts up to 50 kts with seas approaching 12 feet. 
    • There is the addition threat of minor freezing spray developing short after midnight Saturday continuing as late as Sunday morning.
