Here is a one page briefing and supporting graphics on the potential strong to damaging southerly wind gusts on Friday. 

We issued a high wind watch for the Cape and Islands where confidence is highest in a period of damaging wind gusts. Strong wind gusts are expected for much of southern New England and wind headlines may eventually be needed, especially for eastern MA and RI. 

Another period of strong wind gusts from the west is expected Friday night as much colder air pours into the region, and wind headlines may be extended for portions of southern New England.
