Attached is our latest and final update on the heavy rain tonight into Thursday.

We still anticipate a widespread 1-3" of rain with isolated spots of 4"+ possible. This may result in flooding of urban areas, basement flooding, along with rivers and streams. The Thursday morning commute will likely be impacted, especially the first part of it.

We've also attached the latest Northeast River Forecast Center (NERFC) forecasts for the Pawtuxet River at Cranston, RI and the Wood River at Hope Valley, RI. For additional locations please visit: https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/forecasts.php?wfo=box

Again, this is anticipated to be the final briefing for this event, unless there are significant changes to the forecast.
