Good afternoon,

Please find our latest briefing regarding light snow accumulations on Friday and frigid temperatures this weekend attached.

The most significant change to the forecast revolves around snow totals, which have *decreased* since our previous update. Dry air will limit snow accumulations across interior southern New England.

The greatest accumulations will occur across Plymouth and Barnstable counties, specifically the general area surrounding the Cape Cod Canal. Our current forecast calls for 2-3" of snow, generally falling between noon and midnight tomorrow. We do want to make you aware of a non-zero chance for localized accumulations as high as 4 to 5" in southern Plymouth county.

As with the previous update, heavy freezing spray remains a risk Friday night through Saturday night.

Kind regards,

Frank Nocera and Kristie Smith
