Interior icing threat has ended as temperatures are above freezing.
Gale Warning upgraded to Storm Warning for Cape Cod Bay, Nantucket Sound, Vineyard Sound and Buzzards Bay. Gale Warning continues for all other waters.
Wind Advisory upgraded to High Wind Warning for Cape Cod and the Islands.
New Wind Advisory for Block Island, Southern Rhode Island and Southeast Massachusetts.
Heavy Rain/River Flooding Threat:
Locations: All locations. Particular rivers at risk include: Pawcatuck River at Westerly and Wood River Junction, Pawtuxet River at Cranston, Taunton River at Bridgewater, Wood River at Hope Valley, and Assabet River at Maynard.
Timing: Now through Saturday evening, heaviest this morning through midday.
Amounts: 1 to 2 inches across Western MA. 2 to 2.5 inches across northern CT and RI as well as central and eastern MA. May see local amounts up to 3 inches.
Impact: Combination of snow melt and heavy rain may result in localized flooding.

Wind Speeds: South winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
Impact: Damaging winds may result in downed trees and scattered power outages. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
