Good afternoon everyone,

Attached is a one page briefing regarding the potential for an impactful coastal storm during the Monday night through Wednesday time frame. Heavy rain and damaging wind gusts up to 50 mph are forecast with this storm. Power outages will be possible. Highest confidence in strong winds is across eastern MA and RI where a high wind watch will go into effect Tuesday morning. Widespread 3-6 inches of rain is forecast between Monday and Wednesday morning with locally higher amounts possible. A high wind watch will go into effect beginning Tuesday morning along with a storm watch for the coastal waters.
