Good afternoon everyone,
A minor snow event will impact MA/RI and CT on Tuesday evening. Snow may end a brief period of freezing drizzle Tuesday night, possibly ending as rain along the south coast. Snowfall totals should range between a coating and two inches across CT/RI and southeast MA. Slightly higher totals of 1-3 inches are expected across northern MA, with isolated amounts of 4+ possible in northeast MA. However, confidence was not high enough at the moment to issue a winter weather advisory for 4+ inches of snow.
The next email update will be issued late Monday night or early Tuesday morning. Let us know if you have any questions.
