Hi all,
Given that it's the holiday weekend, we wanted to let you know about a bit of snow that's expected in southeastern New England Sunday into Monday. No Advisories are in effect at this time. It is from an offshore storm, but the precipitation shield will spread northwest into southeast MA and possibly RI. Temperatures will be above freezing Sunday, but accumulation is more likely Sunday night as it nears the freezing mark. Some sleet may also be mixed in. Because it's a longer duration light snow event, impacts will be reduced. However, we cannot rule out some ocean-effect enhancement, which would raise the possibilities of an Advisory eventually being needed.
Winds will be gusting up to 30-40 mph along the eastern MA coast Sunday into Monday.
Please keep an eye on the weather this weekend. Thanks.
