Good morning,

Please find attached an updated briefing concerning the winter storm this Friday.

What has changed:
1. Winter Storm Watches have been converted to Winter Storm Warnings north of the Mass Pike.
2. Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for southern CT.
3. There is heightened risk for flash freeze across southeast MA and RI Friday afternoon.

Additional highlights:
4. Winter Storm Watches continue for northern CT, RI and southeast MA due to uncertainty regarding timing of changeover to wintry mix and snowfall amounts.
5. Risk for power outages is minimal due to the dry nature of snow.

More information can be found at: weather.gov/box/winter. Thank you.
