Attached is our latest briefing about the heavy rainfall threat across southern New England today. Since the previous update the risk of severe weather has decreased across southern New England. There is a low risk of severe storms in western Connecticut this afternoon into the evening.

This is anticipated to be the last briefing for this event unless there are significant changes to the forecast.
